St Kitts and Nevis were first represented at the Atlanta 1996 Olympic Games by a team of 10 athletes.
They have competed only in athletics. Sprinter Kim COLLINS competed in four Olympic Games and twice reached the men's 100m final. He finished seventh at Sydney 2000 and sixth at Athens 2004.
He also made the final of the men's 200m in Beijing, placing sixth.
Tianda PONTEEN reached the semifinals of the women's 400m at Athens 2004. They sent a team of four to Beijing but have yet to win a medal.
